After moving from Trinidad and Tobago to pursue the next chapter of my life, I brought with me a decade of experience in jewelry sales and management. I soon came across an opportunity for a sales position and, given my background in the industry, applied and was offered a role as an entry-level sales associate.
Over time, I transitioned into the service department, where I received extensive training in various aspects of the field. Navigating the complexities of the role, I found that our team-oriented, family-friendly environment fostered both my personal and professional growth.
The owners are supportive and always willing to lend a hand, creating a truly collaborative workplace. Today, I serve as the Operations Service Manager for the company and am proud to be entering my 13th year with this thriving company.

I began my journey in 2013 as holiday help in Greenwich, later joining the Westport store as a summer helper in 2016. Over time, I transitioned into a part-time role before becoming a full-time employee in 2018. My dedication and experience led me to my current position as Assistant Store Manager in March 2023.
Beyond retail management, I have extensive accounting experience, including working with CPAs, bookkeeping, and tax returns. One of the things I love most about working here is the collaborative environment—we've built an incredible team in Westport. We support one another, host team bonding dinners and events, and even give back to the community by volunteering together, including working with Habitat for Humanity.

After working in the luxury chocolate industry for over 15 years, I was offered the opportunity to work for Lux Bond and Green almost 4 years ago. I was a little skeptical at first considering I had absolutely no jewelry background, but since there was on-the-job training, I knew the casino environment and was accustomed to the clientele... I decided to go for it!
Working for a family-owned business, that has been around for over a century, has definitely been a welcomed change. I was given the tools I need to succeed, as well as getting to learn from all of the professionals at my location.
