The signature of ÉVOCATEUR jewelry is 22-karat gold leafing, complimented by bold, colorful pieces of art encased inside. Each piece of ÉVOCATEUR jewelry requires hands-on attention from an artisan. A single bangle is hand-gilded and burnished in a labor of love for up to seven days. The layering of gold or silver foil around the encased image gives the jewelry a vintage, approachable feel. Swarovski crystals are added tastefully to some designs. ÉVOCATEUR jewelry features not just the work of well-known artists throughout history, such as Gustav Klimt, Kandinsky, William Morris, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Van Gogh, but also contemporary artists such as Lucy Peveto, who incorporates butterfly wings into her work, and Mari G, whose work evokes painted silk.
